Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC (1888PressRelease)
August 14, 2008 - Full-service video production company, Episode XI Studios, LLC, located in Charlotte, NC teams up with American Heartland Homebuilder and JED Development to create a behind the scenes (BTS) video to show appreciation for all sponsors and volunteers of the Charlotte, NC episode.
With over 400 hours of footage shot for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and only 44 minutes of actual TV airtime, it is difficult to illustrate the entire scope of dedication and sacrifice each volunteer makes to help the deserving family. Through the collaboration between Episode XI Studios, ABC, American Heartland Homebuilder, and JED Development, the BTS sequence incorporates footage of volunteers’ hard-at-work, sponsor interviews, a benefit concert, and ABC’s production crew in action.
The BTS sequence will be made available to volunteers and sponsors alike, after the show airs this fall on ABC. “Our goal is to illustrate the sacrifice that each volunteer makes, and to express the sincere appreciation of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, American Heartland Homebuilders, JED Development, and the entire city of Charlotte, NC” says Randy Davis of Episode XI Studios.
