In the war against terrorism, dogs are informants!

Meet Simon Wilby, inventor and founder of “The Hear Now.” He is helping train police, military and detector dogs with a K9 police dog tracking system.
Meet Simon Wilby of “The Hear Now.” He has given the K9s a wider coverage area & mobile communications.
The Hear Now Tracking device attaches to the dog’s collar or canine vest. Police officers or special task units are able to track their dogs while they are tracking suspicious subjects or searching for people. This system increases the efficiency of police dog tracking and increases communication.
Since the dawn of ancient civilization, dogs have been called to service for civil, military and defense purposes. More than ever, law enforcement agencies and the military utilize canines as patrol partners, apprehension assistants, trackers, locators, scouts, alerts, relayers, substance detectors, including drugs, explosives, accelerants and arson investigation.
Used in the Middle East and Asia
But to be able to attack terrorists, track suspicious subjects or search for people, as well as find evidence, they have to be trained. That’s where The Hear Now comes in, it creates a robust and reliable communication system.
Position on a Map
The Hear Now tracking system consists of a mobile unit attached to the dog and a monitoring unit carried by the owner that displays the dog’s position on a map. The system is based on a Global Positioning System (GPS) in which satellite technology provides the position information and the two-way radio system transmits the location. The animal’s position can be monitored in real time, allowing a police officer to follow his dog by vehicle if necessary.
