March 21, 2007 - Whilst the serious crime department of the European Police will be discussing how text analytics can be used to detect and extract key entities and facts from complex and multilingual documents. Such tools are also able to leverage extracted data and power a comprehensive set of visualization, navigation and analytics. The European Police will be co-presenting with Temis.
The discussion will take place at the European Text Analytics Summit, (Amsterdam 26-27) [www.textanalyticsnews.com]. The event brings together numerous vertical industries that use text mining to take advantage of unstructured data. The security applications of the technology is one of the significant deployments.
