June 26, 2008 - Essman Chiropractic And Wellness Center has taken First Place in the Brunswick County Peoples Choice Awards for 2008. The contest was sponsored by Sister Publications, publishers of Your Brunswick Marketplace News.
Essman Chiropractic And Wellness Center was chosen by popular vote in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Essman Chiropractic is located in Shallotte, NC.
Essman Chiropractic is unique in that Dr. Rick Essman advocates a total wellness program that includes chiropractic care, wellness principles and a return to whole food nutrition.

The first annual 2008 Peoples Choice Awards was jointly sponsored by Sister Publications, publishers of Your Brunswick Marketplace News, the Free Publicity Focus Group and WWAY-TV 3. Public voting began in December of 2007 and was accomplished through write in, fax, email and paper votes.
First place winners will receive a certificate at a public awards ceremony to be announced, and will be entitled to use the phrase ‘First Place – 2008 Brunswick County Peoples Choice Awards’ at their discretion.
“This award is certainly well deserved ,” stated Don McCauley, facilitator of the Free Publicity Focus Group, “I look forward to participating in the awards ceremony to be held in July.”
