Anna D. Banks, Adjunct Professor of Training, Inc. and Workforce Development Programs at Essex County College been accredited with a both the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) designation and the Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor certification.

Banks, Adjunct Professor of Training, Inc. and Workforce Development Programs at Essex County College been accredited with a both the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) designation and the Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor certification.

Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification is awarded by the Council for Credentialing in Education (CCE) to those who satisfactorily complete the class, have related work experience, and agree to follow the GCDF code of ethics.

The Career Development Facilitator (CDF) project was initially developed in 1997 through a collaborative arrangement between the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE), the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and the National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee (NOICC).

Since that time, the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) was developed offering country specific standardization and recognition to career development professionals. The GCDF is currently offered in Bulgaria, Canada, China, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Turkey, and the United States.

Anna is an adjunct professor at Essex County College in the Workforce Development Programs in 2005 and has since become a role model for the Workforce Development Profession in her dedication to promoting best practices through professionalism, commitment and continuous career development. In pursuing a GCDF designation Anna successfully completed the intensive Working Ahead: The National Workforce and Career Development Curriculum, offered by the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

“Attaining a GCDF designation has been a personal goal of mine since joining Workforce Development Program at Essex County College in 2005. This is a significant achievement in my career and I am honored to have been accredited with a designation which sets a standard for the highest level of professionalism and excellence in the Workforce and Career Development profession.”

Banks, a member of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) and the National Career Development Association (NCDA) is included in the 27th -29th Editions of WHO’S WHO IN FINANCE AND INDUSTRY; 24th -26th Editions of WHO’S WHO IN THE EAST; 11th-13th Editions of WHO’S WHO IN THE WORLD; and the 18th-20th Editions of WHO’S WHO IN AMERICAN WOMEN.
