May 05, 2009 - The Eric Hoffer Book Award committee has released the short list for the 2009 grand prize. The short list comprises titles from that have risen from the individual award categories during the judging process.
This year’s Hoffer short list contains exciting books from a range of presses, including titles on contemporary history, business, and cultural topics; superb poetry and art books; and exceptional fiction. The 2009 Eric Hoffer Book Award grand prize will be selected from this list:
