Ergo Exergy Technologies Inc. (Ergo Exergy) is an Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) Company based in Montréal, Canada. We formed Ergo Exergy in early 1994 with only one raison d'être - to develop and perfect UCG technology for wide commercial application. The UCG technology developed, refined and practiced by Ergo Exergy is known as Exergy UCG™ Technology or εUCG.
Prior to Majuba UCG plant in South Africa, the only operating UCG plant that today celebrates over 3800 hours of continuous gas production, Ergo Exergy used the εUCG technology to develop and operate a UCG gas production in Australia (1999-2002). At the moment, Ergo Exergy participates in development of new commercial UCG projects in Canada, India, New Zealand, USA, Australia etc. |
