The Celtics lead the best-of-seven second round playoff series 2-0.
Ray Allen and Paul Pierce combined for four points in Game 1, but were back to regular form in Game 2. Allen scored 16 points, while Pierce had 19 points and six rebounds for Boston. Kevin Garnett, who was recently named to the 2008 All-NBA First Team, added 13 points and 12 rebounds.
LeBron James scored 21 points and dished out six assists for the Cavs, but had seven turnovers. James continued his poor shooting in Game 2, going 6-of-24 in the loss.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 19 points for Cleveland.
The Cavaliers started the game with fresh legs, outscoring the Celtics 24-17 in the first quarter. However, the Celtics charged back, outscoring the Cavs 53-27 over the next two quarters.
