EO Entertainment announces partnership with former exec for Columbia Pictures, Viacom, MTV and CBN as new VP

Washington,D.C./Los Angeles,CA based EO Entertainment announces the appointment of Arena Screen Advisors founder Howard J. France as Vice President of International Business Affairs.

France as Vice President of International Business Affairs. France will be handling business negotiations for foreign and domestic distribution and licensing of content produced by EO Entertainment, EOMP Films, LLC, EO Music, EO Television and EO Online Theatres. France is a graduate of Columbia University in New York where he received his M.B.A and the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD where he obtained his B.A.

France was also the former Director of Corporate Development for such companies as Columbia Pictures, Viacom, United Cinemas International, (a Paramount/Universal company) Showtime, The Coca Cola Film Company, Castle Rock Entertainment, CBN, Embassy Home Entertainment and The Weintraub Entertainment Group and now EO Entertainment, EOMP Films, LLC, EO Television, EO Artist Management and EO Music. EO Entertainment also has agreements with former football great Franco Harris for a new cooking show for teens, Godfather of Go-Go Maxx Kidd to produce his life story, National Geographic photographer David Snider for a new show called "Photography Theatre."

CEO Stanley V. Henson, Jr. is excited to announce this monumental move for the company. EO Entertainment is considered a diverse version of Bob Johnson's BET Television. Henson, a former employee of John Malone's TCI Communications and RCA/BMG will no longer manage the company’s day to day operations. He plans to concentrate on soley on production and acquisitions. Henson has delegated day to day management to President Jamel A. Henson and Manager Ira Bloom. Henson has worked with Cicely Tyson, Bill Cosby, Dick Gregory, Yaphet Kotto and Georgianna Robertson.

EO Entertainment currently owns or licenses content that includes the documentary “Sow your Dreams” with Dick Gregory, Clifton Powell, A.J. Calloway, Carl Lewis, Taraji P. Henson and Donnie Simpson, “The Final Solution” from CBN filmmaker Cristóbal Krusen and “Rise Above the Silver and Gold” starring Georgianna Robertson an actress discovered by the late Robert Altman.
