May 08, 2008 - After nearly four years and much success running Envision Real Estate Services based out of Copperas Cove, Gibson's hometown. Justin Edward Gibson has returned to the city lifestyle of Austin, Tx. While he will still offer services to the entire Central Texas Area; Justin declared his love for Austin and decided to focus on Austin and its' many exciting new developments.
Gibson keeps roots in his hometown of Copperas Cove. His family still resides mostly in the area and keeps local business and are civicly active. "That is what brought me to return to Cove originally", Gibson stated, "but, I came to the realization that I belong in Austin and the faster pace just suits me a little better". It is just an added benefit that the two markets border each other are only a short drive of less than an hour apart.
While in Copperas Cove for just a short period of time; Envision Real Estate Services more than held its' own with the local longterm Realtors. Many of whom were in business while Gibson was growing up in Copperas Cove.
"I will be the first to admit when we first came to Cove I was not sure exactly how fast things would take off", Gibson remembers, "but after our first year it was apparent that the only limits we had were those that were set in place by ourselves."
Envision made waves by being voted "Best of Copperas Cove" in every category after just its' first year in business.
Justin Edward Gibson swept both awards for Best Realtor beating all the longterm locals and the bigger nationwide chains with much larger advertising budgets. "It definitely set a precedent. It's a high bar. One we will have to keep after year after year." Gibson stated after learning of the news. During his time in Copperas Cove Gibson was also presented as an Honorary Chairman for the Business Alliance and was given the National Leadership Award as well as being voted to both the MontClaire and the Strathmore's Who's Who in Real Estate Directories.
The following years were solid with E.R.E.S. Property Management growing to over 50 properties. Gibson veered more toward the downtown commercial properties and his civic interests; being involved with and holding several positions with the City of Copperas Cove, Chamber of Commerce, and others.
Returning to Austin means new business and new challenges to Gibson. "I will be the first to admit I have a little bit of a learning curve to deal with", Gibson; speaking of getting up to speed in the Austin Market, "There are some new developments and roads that were not here before - but I have also been in the area doing real estate for over 13 years now. There is a lot I have seen as well; and a lot I saw coming". Gibson bases this firmly on his solid education, received from Texas State in San Marcos, in Urban Planning.
