Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease)
November 04, 2008 - Superior Industries, a Minnesota-based maker of conveyor equipment and components, and feed systems, has been recognized as a high-growth private company by the Entrex Private Company Index (PCI), a benchmarking index that measures the monthly performance of private companies in North America.
The Entrex PCI gave Superior Industries its monthly Top Growth Award for September, based on the company’s startling 82 percent increase in revenue in September over the same month last year.
Marketing Manager Mary Erholtz attributes this successful growth to involvement with several large projects in the mining sector. Project shipments in September also gave a nice boost in revenue for the month.
Stephen H. Watkins, CEO of Entrex, a Chicago-based company that sponsors the PCI Index, said that private companies like Superior Industries, and others on the Index, are bucking the downward economic trend today.
The PCI issues this Top Growth Award each month and presents the Top Five Growth Company Award each quarter.
