Endeavor Appoints New Vice President of Sales
Industry veteran Greg Sweeney joins Endeavor's Executive team.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) May 01, 2012 - Endeavor is proud to announce the appointment of Greg Sweeney as Vice President of Sales. With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, he was the company's top choice to lead Endeavor's ongoing inside and outside sales efforts.
Reporting directly to Endeavor's CEO, Sweeney leads a team of National Account Executives in their efforts to drive new business for the company. Having served in executive and management positions in sales and marketing for the past 20 years, he is looking forward to leveraging his industry experience, sales expertise, and passion for customer success in leading Endeavor's efforts to generate leads, develop relationships, and drive revenue opportunities for Endeavor.
Previously, Business Development and Outside Sales activities were handled within the same group at Endeavor. Sweeney's joining the team has allowed the company to promote Bob von Sprecken as SVP of Business Development in order to lead a team dedicated to developing new service products, generating timely proposals, and delivering consistent agreements which capture the intent and details of Endeavor's engagements. Sweeney shall manage a team of inside and outside sales professionals focused on further developing relationships and driving topline growth.
Prior to joining the Endeavor team, Sweeney spent the previous 11 years in Executive-level Sales roles for Telsource, serving as Business Unit President and Vice President of Sales & Marketing during his tenure. Earlier in his career, Sweeney spent 15 years with AT&T, holding positions such as Marketing Manager, Sales Director, and Business Development Manager. He holds an M.B.A. from Rutgers University, where he also attained bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Psychology.
