May 12, 2009 - Keri Holzman joined Employers Rx, LLC as their Director of Client Solutions. Employers Rx is a PEO consulting firm specializing in HRO. She is an experienced HR professional with practical knowledge in many areas of human resources. Keri began her HR career at Harrah's Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, after graduating from college with a B.A. in psychology. Her time there was focused on Employee/Labor Relations.
After relocating to Atlanta, GA Keri served as HR Specialist with Cornucopia Natural Foods, a small (60 employees) natural foods company based in CT, where she provided HR support to the GA employees. Keri was later recruited for a position at Med-X Medical, a physician-based weight loss company. As the HR Manager of Med-X Medical, Keri realized how quickly the HR needs of a small business can change. Keri helped guide the rapid growth of Med-X Medical from 20 to 100+ employees in 12 months, and was instrumental in every phase from recruitment and hiring to the HRIS administration and ever-changing payroll, safety and compliance needs. Keri was the driving force behind the implementation and management of the company's health insurance and employee benefits plans, which were powerful recruitment and retention tools.
In 1998 Keri and her family settled in beautiful South Florida where she served in a software consulting position, installing and training firms on Abra HRIS Software. She worked with companies in a variety of industries, updating and integrating their HR and Payroll software, as well as providing training and technical support as needed. Keri was successfully managing a small local business for 5 years when asked to join Employers Rx, LLC. The consummate professional, she is eager to share her understanding of the challenges facing small business owners and to help them find answers to their most difficult HR issues.
