February 13, 2008 - Montreal, Qc – Empire ISIS the empress of urban music in Canada signs with Monumental Records & HLM in a joint partnership with Universal Music Group for her upcoming album "Sound the Trumpets" scheduled to be released May 13th, 2008
"Sound the Trumpets" had a test run in two stores in Quebec prior to this date with no marketing, advertising or music video to support the record. The only support that aided Empire ISIS was performances, word of mouth, and various media. After a highly successful run, Monumental Records went into partnership with HLM for a major release adding an additional 6 new songs and dropping 2 from the original L.P. When these 6 new songs will be finished the album will have been recorded in Montreal, Jamaica, New York, and Israel making this album a true international recording.
