November 23, 2007 - Montreal, Quebec – As critics go “GaGa” for Empire Isis as the newest and hottest urban talent to be coming out of Canada. Empire ISIS has been announced as the first quarterly winner of Mytune’s “2007- 2008 Artist of The Year” contest. As quarterly winner Empire ISIS will be presented with the Quarterly Winner Award in Los Angeles on December 13th at a to be determined venue.
In following news Empire ISIS will be opening artist for Chamillionaire the U.S. chart topper & Grammy Award winning rapper on November 30th at Metropolis in Montreal followed by a performance with #1 Caribbean Artist Taurus Riley best known for his hit single “She’s Royal” on November 30th at E.B. Club Lounge in Montreal.

As Montrealer Empire Isis gains much attention from her critics, she has still kept to her true roots. Being half Moroccan and raised by her Ugandan stepfather. She has grown up with multiculturalism to its fullest. It was in Jamaica; there in the heart of reggae music, Isis found her calling. Isis has traveled the world from Africa to Central America to finally rest between New York City and Montreal. At a young age she has experienced the global village with the eyes of true innocence and truly searching for the worlds mystic. ISIS has biked across the central Americas to living in Jamaica to running her own restaurant in a hotel in Brazil. As her destined journeys taught her the joys of life, freedoms and horrors of poverty. Isis has returned home to conquer the world again with her an urban fusion of hip-hop, reggae & pop. Her recently released album “Sound The Trumpets” is a debut that has many critics wanting more and has brought much attention to her tour dates.
