February 05, 2009 - IRVINE – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) announces the successful launch of The Ecology Center’s new web presence at www.theecologycenter.org. As part of a larger online public relations and marketing initiative for the new and local non-profit organization, EMG developed this educational and lead generation website pro bono to support The Ecology Center’s mission to inspire and involve individuals and communities in the stewardship of Southern California’s environment and build its membership base.
“EMG takes its ecological and social responsibility seriously, and we were thrilled to partner with The Ecology Center as it launched its official efforts in Orange County this past fall,” explained EMG Creative Director Lawrence Williford. “With our collective inspiration and creativity, we crafted a great website that promotes environmental awareness and interest while supporting The Ecology Center’s efforts to drive annual membership from local businesses and families.”
Based nearby in San Juan Capistrano, California, and led by sustainable design professional Evan Marks, The Ecology Center required a website that communicated its mission while encouraging individuals to sign up to become a member online. The finished product incorporates the Center’s stunning branded illustrations within interactive flash banners along with other, vibrant flash elements and high resolution photos of the center displayed throughout the new website to introduce users to The Ecology Center’s San Juan Capistrano location in and around the Congdon House while promoting its mission to educate locals via ecologically sound solutions at the household and community level.
The website also offers an online membership form integrated with PayPal where users can sign up to become a member of The Ecology Center and further support its educational efforts. Also, users can read up on the latest news, events, general information as well as learn about the center’s programs, demonstrations and exhibit offerings.
EMG and The Ecology Center have already joined forces post-launch to begin search engine optimization and search engine marketing campaigns to further enhance its visibility and presence among south Orange County communities and businesses. In doing so, The Ecology Center hopes to expand its ecological efforts in the years to come, securing a bright future for a thriving environment.
