December 20, 2007 - Toronto, Canada – Ellie Devers, professional voice actress and voice over coach, is this week’s guest lecturer on the popular Voice Over Experts Podcast, the most listened to educational podcast for beginner and professional voice actors. Ellie Devers teaches at Audio Paint Voices in New York with business partner, Frank Piazza.
In Ellie Devers’ lecture "Truth and Dare”, voice actors learn how to create a secondary world, communicating truthfully in imaginary circumstances. Using the basic acting technique of substitution, voice actors can speak the truth of the moment and then dare to go wherever the script and their imaginations dictate.
This podcast is the first episode that Ellie has contributed to the Voice Over Experts Podcast. Ellie will be lecturing on a regular basis, helping people to understand, develop and succeed in the business of voice acting.
