  • (1888PressRelease) July 02, 2014 - Former foster child and "Little Sister" turned bestselling author and business leader, Elle Febbo has partnered with Jack in the Box Restaurants to raise funds and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. Special edition copies of "What Love Is A-Z" will be available in select Jack In the Box locations. In-store book signings are scheduled throughout the Summer and Fall and each book comes with a coupon for a FREE combo meal.

"It's exciting to give back to an organization that made such a huge difference for me when I needed it most, and I'm grateful to Herrick Foods, LLC and Jack In the Box Restaurants for making it possible. Without their generosity, this wouldn't have been possible," says the author, who has raised funds for more than 15 charities to date using this collaborative structure, with this campaign set to raise more than $25,000 for the organization.

Mike Herrick, CEO of Herrick Foods LLC., and long time supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, is eager to kick off the campaign. "We're proud to contribute to this Nobel cause."

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation's largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country.
