August 13, 2009 - Wendy Abkin, David Bancroft, Robert Cross, Jeff Hallam, Ellen Kahn, Diana Richmond, Jean Ryan, Richard Sideman, Gilda Turitz, and Jay Weill have been named Northern California Super Lawyers for 2009. Only five percent of lawyers in the state are selected as Super Lawyers, published by Law & Politics, which awards the distinction based on peer nominations and independent research.
In addition, Ryan Meckfessel was named a 2009 Northern California Rising Star, which recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state – those who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
Wendy Abkin and Diana Richmond were also included in the Top 100 Lawyers in Northern California, and in the Top 50 Women.
