August 19, 2006 - Columbus, OH, August, 18, 2006 – Today eFreightline.com announced the addition of a live freight availability board which allows licensed motor carriers to view eFreighline’s available freight. eFreightline already offering the enablement of companies that ship freight to login to the site to request free transportation rates and schedule concurrent shipments. The services offered include: Freight Rating for Full Truckload (FTL) and Partial shipments for a variety of equipment types and modes of transportation, Online Booking and Scheduling for Highway and Intermodal Shipments, and Online Tracing and Tracking of shipments. Creating an account and usage of the site comes at no charge to the user and rates can be requested without signing up for an account; however account holders have access to premium rates. As of August, 15, 2006 all carriers with a valid Motor Carriers License will be able to access live load availability instantly. This new service will allow carriers to bypass unnecessary steps in checking available loads such as calling in directly to dispatch. It is user friendly and will create a more convenient way of doing business.
