June 01, 2007 - How do you celebrate National Safety Month? This June, the eeMOMS want you to do more than tell your kids not to talk to strangers. We’ve got just what parents, childcare providers, and caregivers need to expand their knowledge of child security and keep little loved ones as safe as can be.
The eeMOMS are offering a Child Security & Safety TeleSeminar and Worldwide Internet Simulcast on Monday, June 18, at 7:30PM (EST). The program will run 90 minutes. Best of all, it’s free!
As part of the eeMOMS’ core mission to support informed parenting, the seminar is geared toward training adults how best to protect and prepare children to respond to potentially dangerous situations including basic criminal activity, abductions, and sexual assaults. The presentation will feature well-known, top experts in the field of child security.
“Just telling your child, ‘Don't talk to strangers,’ is not enough. You must have a comprehensive personal security, safety, and emergency preparedness plan in place for you and your children,” says Alfred McComber host of Code Red Talk Radio and eeMOMS’ in-house security advisor. “We'll teach you exactly what to do and how to do it without scaring your children or making them feel uncomfortable in any way.”
