May 21, 2008 - EcommIT(http://www.ecommit.com), a leading Software Development firm, today announced that they have signed a contract with Supplyco Kerala, a fully owned Government Company with more than 2000 employees, to implement a software which will enable a consolidation of the individual medical store requirements at the whole sales depot level and the purchase order to the pharma vendors will be issued by the wholesale depots ensuring the benefit of scale.
Under the terms of the agreement, EcommIT will provide an advanced order processing and invoice automation solution -Medsoft which will enable Supplyco to manage the complete transaction of medicines between the Wholesale Depot, Retailers and the Suppliers. The inventory management
of the wholesale depot is also to be done by the software.
This is the second software development being undertaken by EcommIT for SupplyCO, the earlier one being the highly successful supply management solution to automate the Atta procurement process. EcommIT's technology based on open standards will again be used for this new development work.
