April 05, 2008 - ECM of France, a specialist in veterinary ultrasound solutions, has launched IMAGYNE – a new ultrasound scanner for use with small animals, such as cats and dogs. The device is powerful, compact and user-friendly. ECM will take part in several upcoming trade shows, including FECAVA in Dublin from 20 to 24 August 2008.
The IMAGYNE scanner is PC-based and includes post-processing, full-colour Doppler, pulsed-wave Doppler and triplex modes, as well as a backlit keyboard and a 4D display. It weighs 55kg and its size is 66cm x 75cm x 130cm.
IMAGYNE is equipped with three easy-access probe connectors, which can fit up to five different probes (convex, micro convex, phased array, linear abdominal and linear rectal). IMAGYNE is the ideal scanner for use in veterinary applications in gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as in abdominal and cardiac medicine. ECM can train operators and also provides maintenance services for its devices.
