When a client began doing business with Overstock.com they were required to use EDI (X.12) to transact their sales orders. They wanted a provider that could implement a system fast and with a quick turn around time in order to integrate with Overstock.com as well as their web store, eBay and Amazon. The eBridge ePortal Engine gave them exactly that. In under a week, compliance with Overstock.com EDI documents was met and sending and receiving of documents was enabled in time for the holiday season.
Having the ePortal as a web-based software as a service (SaaS) solution ensured that the client could be up and running on the system in days and not months.
