Maureen Russolo join E Source as Director of Utility Customer Experience. Most recently, Russolo was manager of customer experience at Union Gas Limited, where she was responsible for customer experience strategy and multichannel strategy. She has more than 13 years of energy-related experience, including planning, performance measurement, and customer relations.
The finalists for the 2011 E Source Utility Ad Awards Contest have been selected. The awards will be announced and presented at an awards luncheon on September 21, at the Westin Denver Downtown during the 24th Annual E Source Forum along with the winners of several other benchmark studies.
The top-rated electric and gas company IVRs belong to Duke Energy, Portland General Electric, Florida Power & Light Co., NorthWestern Energy, Arizona Public Service, and Cleco. The top-rated Canadian utility IVR belongs to Union Gas Limited.
E Source recently launched a new resource for finding energy-efficiency rebate and incentive information for any location in the U.S. and Canada, giving access to over 2,500 Rebate and Incentive Programs.
E Source recently analyzed data from the Nielsen Energy Survey and found that 85 percent of U.S. consumers say they would purchase a battery-driven car either right away (3 percent), when their current car needed replacement (57 percent), or when the technology is proven and it becomes more mainstream (25 percent).
E Source is looking for utility ads that have generated outstanding results while delivering a clear message and being visually appealing. This year, awards will be given out in more categories than in previous years. The categories are Print Ads, Radio Ads, TV Ads, Viral or Online Videos, and Ad Campaigns.

E Source announced the winners of its 2010 Utility Print Ad Awards Contest at the 23rd Annual E Source Forum. Top honors went to APS, SaskPower, and Xcel Energy for first, second, and third places respectively in the Best Overall Print Ad category.
