Wire harness manufacturers typically make dozens or even hundreds of different wire harnesses, each requiring a unique test program. Dynalab’s NX Server improves the management and control of wire harness test operations by providing a central repository for all test programs. Every NX Tester connected to the network has access to this test program repository. An operator can manually scroll through the server’s directory for the desired program and download it to a NX Wire Harness Tester. Better still, Dynalab now offers the capability of using a bar code scanner to scan in the part number, enabling the NX Tester to search the central repository for the associated test program, download it and execute it – all automatically.
