Dylan DilinJah From Making The Band To Release New Single on 18th July 2011
The Caribbean Hip Hop artist and MTV reality TV star chooses 'Over You' as his debut with Expat Records.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 29, 2011 - Dylan DilinJah, one of the most recognized faces from the Diddy and MTV hit series Making The Band, has recently reintroduced himself to the world as a Caribbean Hip Hop artist ready to stand on his own. Dylan, known by many as "Dylan from Making The Band", has teamed up with Indie label Expat Records to release his first solo single entitled 'Over You' which will be released 18th July 2011.
The new sound of Dylan DilinJah fuses the sounds of the Caribbean with classic Hip Hop to bring about a fresh new sound appealing to a wide range of age groups and demographics. The track 'Over You' is
an uptempo dance/club/pop song dedicated to those who are "over" their ex or other past bad experiences. It is designed to make the listener dance and move forward in life. The chorus is catchy and the lyrics are strong and straight to the point: "Over You". The song will soon hit the airwaves on top radio stations in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and other major cities throughout the country.
Dylan DilinJah is currently filming the video for the track. 'Over You' which will feature another MTV reality TV star. Naomi Defensor from MTVs Real World: Las Vegas is set to star in the video for 'Over You' to be directed by Mazi O. She plays the lead role as Dylan's love interest. This is her first music video appearance since her role on Real World - Las Vegas this year. Naomi exclaims, "I am very excited to be working with a fellow MTV reality star on something not reality based. It's good to see Dylan pursuing his career and I'm glad to be a part of it".
