Dutch Order On Building Ships Will Be Performed With The Welding Equipment Produced In Nikolaev

Within the tender on supplying a welding equipment for a shipbuilding plant Zaliv, Kristall-Service produced and put 25 semi-automatic devices of GRANIT on a shipyard.


(1888PressRelease) July 11, 2007 - Building of hulls for the combined dry-cargo ships with a carrying capacity 7200 and gross weight 2375 tons each according to the contract between the Kerch shipbuilding factory Zaliv and the Dutch company Damen will be realized by the semi-automatic welding devices of Kristall-Service, the company located in Nikolaev.

Within the tender an enterprise Kristall-Service produced and put on Zaliv 25 welding semi-automatic devices GRANIT, intended for welding of steel constructions of hulls a wire in all spatial positions.

Now the production of welding equipment is certificated and put on a stream - Kotov Maxim, Kristall-Service marketing director, reports. He added that products were already successfully used at the ship-repair plant in Kherson, at the shipbuilding factory Nevsk in Saint Petersburg, and also at the shipbuilding plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

Zaliv (located in Kerch, Crimea) is a shipbuilding plant, included in a holding company Avtokraz. A factory was founded in 1938 and specializes on building of tankers and container ships, repair of courts of different dead-weight capacity and setting.
