May 18, 2007 - Duncan Motorsports chose Jeff Williams and his team at JW Racing for their experience and knowledge to help them gear up and prepare for the 2008 season. Dave Duncan says, “Our goal this season is iron out all the kinks and come out swinging in 2008.”
The racing team and program were created to promote a new line of hand safety products for Duncan’s Bar-B-Que Grips, from Duncan Industries, LLC. Bar-B-Que Grips are a series of grilling mitts that were created to protect the hands and arms while cooking on a bar-b-que, smoker, or outdoor grill . What was started as a promotional project has grown into a professional racing team in the NASCAR King Taco Super Truck Series at Irwindale Speedway.
After interviewing many drivers from across the United States, Duncan Motorsports felt Jeff Williams was the best choice. Dave Duncan stated “We looked at several prospects from all over the U.S., but Jeff’s record speaks for itself and his team has a real never give up attitude. We wanted a team that would represent us in a positive way. We are very happy with our selection.”
