September 12, 2008 - Bolingbrook Illinois - Edward Dubowski has been named Chief Operating Officer of Environmental Safety Group Inc. (ESG) of Bolingbrook Illinois.

Ed Dubowski rose through the ranks to Chief of the Park Ridge Fire Department in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. He participated on key Illinois Fire Chiefs Association committees and worked closely with MABAS on a State wide level. He received the prestigious Humanitarian Award from MABAS for his work in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. Ed used his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University to manage a $7 Million budget and 53 members of the Park Ridge Fire Department. As the Emergency Management Agency Director in Park Ridge, Ed also earned the designation of Illinois Professional Emergency Manager.
In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Ed will ensure that customers continue to receive a high level of service and support. He will work closely with the 15 ESG outside sales associates managing territories and evaluating key opportunities that will benefit customer’s needs throughout the Midwest.
