November 08, 2009 - The Dubai Information Site completed and launched the much awaited section on Dubai Book Reviews. In this section site visitors will find over 25 books and DVDs on Dubai reviewed first-hand by the website’s founders.
Dubai is such a fascinating and ever changing place and the best way to learn about it without having to visit it is through reading. However, not all books are created equal. Some are by far superior to others. That said, the creators of the Dubai Information Site have weeded out the duds and provide the cream of the crop on their website. A comprehensive book review accompanies each recommended book.
There are books on restaurants in Dubai, art and architecture in Dubai, Dubai’s history, Dubai culture, Dubai tourism, guides, maps, transportation, sports, hotels and much more. There are books with mind blowing images that will make the reader feel as if they have been and seen Dubai first hand.
In addition to books, certain DVDs are also reviewed and presented in this section. The most notable Dubai DVD in this section is the 60 minute interview of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
