February 19, 2008 - S7 Software is pleased to announce the joining of Dr. Shyam Johari to its Executive Board. Dr. Johari joins S7 Software after a stint as management consultant, the capacity in which he advised IT companies on business strategy development, process improvements, and improvements in product quality and performance.
S7 Software is a product and services company focused in the M&RE (migration & reengineering) space with a major portion of revenue from the US market. Dr Johari would guide S7 in development of business strategy, improving customer satisfaction and new customer acquisition.
“Dr. Johari’s experience of over three decades in all aspects of product development life cycle and heading business operations for leading IT services companies in the US would be a key asset in developing S7 business plan and roadmap” said S7 Software’s CEO Mr. Manjunath Gowda.
Dr Shyam Johari worked as a Vice President for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) - America from June 2000 to August 2006. At TCS, Dr. Johari was responsible for business operations of Hi-Tech vertical, South Central Region and Western Region at various times. Dr. Johari also led the TCS-America eSecurity offering from 2000 to 2005.
Prior to this, Dr Johari worked with Compaq (Tandem) from 1987 to 2000 as Director of Product Performance, System Integration, and India Software Development for NonStop Division. From 1975 to 1987, Dr. Johari was with Burroughs (Unisys) in various management roles. Dr. Johari holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Illinois at Chicago.
