Doylestown, PA's Harmony Clean Gets Best of Philly for Green House Cleaning

Philadelphia-area Green Home Cleaning Company is Named Best of Philly in the Category of House-Cleaners.

Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) August 28, 2009 - The list is out. Named among Philadelphia magazine’s best of the best, Bucks County’s Green House Cleaning experts at Harmony Clean were selected as the ‘pick of the pros to call,’ in the House-Cleaner category.

Client Ann Grossman was reading Philadelphia magazine’s Best of Philly when her cleaning team arrived to clean her home. She tore out the page and gave it to the team to bring to the office. When Harmony Clean’s Client Services Coordinator, Kim Heck, received the announcement, she immediately sent a text to both owners who were out of the office in meetings. “You can imagine how quickly they excused themselves from their meetings to contact me for details when they heard that we had won,” exclaimed Kim.

“We’re passionate about green living and being a socially responsible local company, which is why we’ve used non-toxic and natural cleaning products since day one. We’re also passionate about Quality Assurance and listening to the needs of our clients which has made us successful while allowing us to make a difference,” said co-owner Vicki Brown of Chalfont, Pa. “Winning Best of Philly tells us we’re doing the right thing.”

Harmony Clean achieved six years of ‘healthy home cleaning’ this past spring and celebrated by hosting their 1st Annual Earth Day event at Central Park in Doylestown, Pa. As part of their “Shout Green” initiative, they invited local green and sustainable businesses to the event in order to bring awareness to the community of the green resources available throughout the area. Children painted murals with non-toxic paint supplied by Ethos in Buckingham while parents admired organic clothing offered by Green Changes of Solebury.

Both owners, Debi Sarandrea and Vicki Brown, at Harmony Clean have given free presentations on the radio, spoken at local venues to educate the public on how to transition to green home cleaning, and have recently started blogging about green cleaning. With the re-vamp of their website launching this October 2009, http://www.harmonyclean.com, they intend to reach further audiences with easy and fun ways to incorporate green living into their every day lives.
