Dovie D. Dawson was born in 1963 in Los Angeles. She is a double alumni at CSU Dominquez Hills with a BA and a MPA. She is a member of the board of directors for the San Diego chapter of the California Elected Women’s Association, and serves an appointed position for the San Diego County Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board. Discovering Me is her first book. Dovie donates 10% of her book sales to her favorite charity, Mary’s House, a transitional home for women located in Escondido, California. |
