Dot Com Infoway, one of those 'very few' companies, has been taking a series of recruitment initiatives lately. The recent one being its recruitment drive at Lady Doak College, one of Madurai's reputed institutions for women.
Dot Com Infoway's campus drive program at Lady Doak College was a remarkable success, marked by the participation of about a hundred young graduates. The company's Human Resources team adopted a creative approach to recruitment and made the talent-hunt innovative and captivating. Though the recruitment process comprised of the usual group discussions, personal interviews and aptitude tests, the HR team avoided clichés by introducing EQ testing, discussing current topics and giving more space for candidates to express themselves. Candidates were also measured along lines of their interest in information technology, communicative abilities and academic profiles.
Dot Com Infoway has recruited 6 candidates for many of its departments. The selected candidates will be joining the Dot Com Infoway's Madurai office soon.
Lady Doak College (LDC), one of Madurai's premier women's educational institutions, is an autonomous college with a genesis-history that dates back to 1948. Affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, this ecumenical Christian College, imparts quality education to women from all strata of the society. Recognized by India's University Grants Commission as a 'College with Potential for Excellence', LDC is one of the few institutions to be accredited with an 'A' Grade from NAAC.
Lady Doak College welcomed this recruitment drive from Dot Com Infoway to a great extent. Coming at a time where companies operate within straitjacket budgets and look to cut down costs, this staffing initiative from the company met with undue appreciation from the college management.
