May 25, 2007 - Who is Donna Hogan? She's a woman who knows how to get things done! Her mother passed away when she was just 6 years old. While not yet fully understanding the impact of her mother missing from her life, she instinctively knew early on that she had to be determined, believe in herself and have a vision of what she wanted to become. She learned that hard work, building relationships, being honest and knowing when to take advantage of opportunities, were crucial elements in becoming successful.
Donna stated, "It wasn't easy growing up. Nevertheless, I quickly discovered how to pick myself up when I failed at something and I learned from that experience. Having strong mentors, clergy, and a close relationship with family were important keys to helping me stay strong throughout my adversities."
After experiencing 9/11 firsthand, nervously fumbling down 36 flights of stairs in the dark, witnessing the second plane crash into the second tower and watching people jump out of the tower windows, once again, Donna knew her life would never be the same. It was too much to comprehend. "New York City was like a huge crematory. The unforgettable smell of death lingered for over a year," Donna sadly recalls.
Four years later, she was still witnessing military men holding rifles outside of her office, and orange alert threats were constantly being implemented. Donna knew a decision had to be made. She and her husband decided to move. Ms. Hogan admits that, "No matter how much you achieve in your career, there comes a time when you must balance out your spiritual journey, your career and your life." In October 2005, that's exactly what she and her husband did when they moved to metro Atlanta and built their dream home.
Donna has been in real estate since 1987. In New York City, she provided premier service to executives, athletes, business owners, investors, as well as people who were looking to buy their first home. And now, she's serving the same clientele in metro Atlanta.
