Dr. Sean Stringer, D.C.
Dr. Sean Stringer holds a Doctorate from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, where he graduated with a major in Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences with an Emphasis in Chemisry.
After completing his internship in Minnesota, Dr. Stringer moved back to his home town of Venice where he practiced as an associate for one year. In October 2001, Dr. Stringer established Stringer Chiropractic & Massage Therapy, now known as Doctor's Injury & Wellness Center, as his flagship office.
Dr. Stringer has completed over 1000 post-doctorate hours in the study of human biomechanics, sports medicine, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, nutrition, spinal decompression, and soft tissue injuries and is considered by many to be an expert in these areas. His clinical focus is in non-surgical treatment and rehabilitation of lumbar and cervical disc herniations, auto accident injuries, and soft tissue injuries. He has developed a unique multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal injuries by combining the expertise of varied professionals including: physical therapists, massage therapists, medical doctors, osteopathic doctors, and chiropractors.
Dr. Stringer is the former medical director of the Women's Professional Football League, Women's American Football League, and Mid-American Men's Semi-Pro Football League. He has served on the medical teams for the Ironaman Triathlon World Championship, International Softball Federation, World Olympian Association, and AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tournement. He is also a consultant and editorial contributor to Your Month Healthy.
Additionally, Dr. Stringer strongly promotes a non-invasive approach to healthcare, which includes proper diet, rest and exercise programsspecifically designed to meet individualized needs. |
