DIYSearch Turns 11 And Desperately Seeks Sponsors

DIYSearch turns 11 this month, and in that time hasn't made a dime and is now actively seeking sponsors. On their 11th birthday, DIYSearch has come begging, scraping and pleading!

(1888PressRelease) November 20, 2007 - Cambridge, MA - In 11 years DIYSearch has become the oldest independent search engine for independent artists, publishers, musicians, thinkers and craftspeople, and has never made a single cent, but because of some very real financial hardships is now desperately seeking sponsors to help support the search engine's activities.

Diysearch is seeking sponsorships through a variety of methods. The site isn't cheap to run and maintain, and the amount of time, effort and resources during the re-build they have come to the conclusion that there needs to be a way for the site to at least attempt to earn its own keep.

They are looking for active independent projects who want to partner up in some form of either exclusive sponsorship of the site or a cross-promotional effort.

DIYSearch is not looking to just sell banner ad space, in that coming online in the next couple of weeks they will be implementing a self-service banner insertion program for all registered users. This sponsorship effort is more about partnerships.
