September 01, 2007 - Cape Town, South Africa - Diya Travel has been a project dreamed of by Grant du Toit for many years. After some careful thought, he is now going to fulfill his project. Grant has about ten years experience in the travel industry in fields ranging from tour guide, accommodation management, tour company management and entertainments manager. Addition skills include knowledge and experience in website design and online marketing.
Diya Travel wishes to keep their website simple and fast. A simple high speed navigation system has been used with plans in the pipeline to speed things up even more. Diya Travel wishes to maintain a “three click” policy allowing users to get to the service after three clicks. Various search and sitemap facilities have been included. Visual Flash based maps are to be integrated in the future making navigation even more interactive. The visual aspects have been kept to level sufficient to enhance the experience for potential travelers and keeping it to a level where the load time is not greatly affected for those on slower means of internet connectivity.
Diya Travel will provide a travel forum and travel blog in the near future to allow potential travelers to interact with other travelers currently planning to travel, traveling or having traveled in the regions they wish to go to.
Diya Travel says they are gearing up for the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Grant said, “We are optimistic that Diya Travel will be able to handle the load in preparation of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. We are South African and always done our best on the world stage. We don’t plan to start failing now”.
