Created by Leo Burnett (Delhi), the film introduces the concept of home shopping on television.
The film shows a genie who emerges out of a magic lamp to tell a family the secret behind how he fulfils his own shopping desires. So while the family rattles their wish list, the genie in a very matter of fact tone tells the family that for these products all they have to do is to watch HomeShop18 for all their needs.
However the family does not believe genie’s recommendations too easily and thus the genie tells them of the various offers available this Diwali on HomeShop18 and the family leaves the lamp aside in favour of the TV remote.
The film closes with the genie making a comeback and telling people that he too shops from HomeShop18.
HomeShop18 for this diwali gifts is offering a bunch of deals on brands like Whirlpool, Godrej, Samsung, Nikon, Kodak.
The channel will further give prizes to its consumers which include seven days all expense paid trip for a couple to Paris and five days all expenses paid trip to Thailand. It will also give away Samsung LCD TVs.
