January 03, 2008 - Gaithersburg, MD -- Divas & Rockstars™ (DANDRKIDS.COM), an online children’s clothing store, will donate a portion of each sale it makes this year to various children’s charities. This month’s charity is the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
As part of their New Year’s resolution for 2008, the owners of Divas & Rockstars™ have announced their plan to give back to the community by donating a portion of each sale to help children in need. The program will begin on January 1st, and continue through the last day of 2008. DANDRKIDS.COM will donate $1 of each sale to that month’s charity. Each month, a different charity will benefit, and will be featured on the Divas & Rockstars website, www.DANDRKIDS.com.
In keeping with DANDRKIDS.COM’s theme of rock-and-roll children’s wear, the charities selected all target children’s health or children’s music education causes. Charities include: the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Operation Smile, St. Jude, VH1 – Save the Music, and the Make A Wish Foundation, to name a few.
