January 08, 2009 - DiscountAdvances.com recently teamed up with the Discover® Card Network to bring customers a new Discount Cash Card that offers customers a quicker way to get emergency cash. DiscountAdvances’ customers will have the ability to use the card at all ATM’s or any one of the thousands of places where Discover® Cards are accepted.
Customers already using the former I Got It Card as a convenient way to load fast cash borrowed through an online loan, are familiar with its many benefits. The card is intended to be used as an even easier alternative to getting a cash advance deposited into a checking account, which might take a couple of days to process if a loan is borrowed over the weekend. The Discount Cash Card gets the money to customers the same day the loan is approved, without having to wait on overnight deposits to a bank account. In addition, the new card will provide customers with free transactions when making a purchase.
Formerly known as the I Got It Card, the Discount Cash Card provides the same convenience and ease, but can now be used in more places, wherever Discover® Card is accepted. Customers can check card balances online 24 hours a day. There is no charge to receive the new card in the mail, but once a payday loan is processed, a small $5.00 convenience fee is added to the card’s loan balance to cover ATM fees. If the card is never used for transactions, the $5.00 goes towards the customer’s loan principle. If the card is ever lost, stolen, or any assistance is needed, customers can call the Secure Cash Network at 1-800-710-3909.
The new Discount Cash Card from DiscountAdvances and Discover® were mailed to existing DiscountAdvances’ customers in October. New loans will no longer be loaded to the old I Got It Card, but remaining balances (loaded prior to the October 31, 2008 deadline) will still be valid for purchases.
