Dining With a Social Conscience: Lime Restaurant, Lambi Fund of Haiti, and Laurel Glen Chevere Wine

Denver metro diners can enjoy Lime restaurant's Mexican food, savor Laurel Glen Chévere wine, and support sustainable development programs in Haiti all at the same time.

Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2009 - For the entire month of September, diners can satisfy their taste buds at Denver’s Lime restaurant, enjoy Laurel Glen Chévere wine, and support a social cause all at the same time. In a unique partnership that will help the people of an impoverished country, the Lambi Fund of Haiti has partnered with Lime, the first restaurant in the state of Colorado to feature Laurel Glen Chévere wine. The partnership will feature Chévere wine the entire month of September at Lime’s Landmark Village (DTC) location in Denver with every bottle purchased supporting grassroots groups in Haiti working on economic justice, democracy, and sustainable development programs.

Chévere wine, a rich and deep cabernet, has an exciting history of social activism. Patrick Campbell of Laurel Glen Vineyards learned about the Lambi Fund of Haiti’s work in sustainable development and sought to create a great tasting wine with a social conscience. Thus, Chévere wine was born of which Laurel Glen generously donates 5% of the purchase price for every bottle sold.

Supporters can dine with a conscious and visit Lime at Landmark Village in September and order a glass of Chévere wine. Lime offers $1 taco specials all day on Tuesdays, $5 burritos on Thursdays, and a live magician from 6pm to close. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 3 to 6pm and also features $3 guacamole, spinach-queso dip, chicken flautas, and nachos.

Lime is located in Landmark Village at 5425 Landmark Place and can be contacted by phone at (303)741-LIME or visited on the web at www.eatatlime.com.
