Dine with Michelin Star Chef Vineet Bhatia at Ziya, The Oberoi, Mumbai
The Oberoi, Mumbai is delighted to welcome Consulting Chef Vineet Bhatia back to Ziya, the contemporary Indian restaurant, until March 19, 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) March 16, 2011 - Mumbai - Chef Bhatia, who earned Indian food its first Michelin star, will be at Ziya until March 19, 2011, and will be introducing an all new a la carte menu, as well as new seven-course Gourmand menus (both vegetarian and non vegetarian).
Guests who opt for the seven-course non-vegetarian Gourmand menu will enjoy Banana leaf-wrapped grilled fiery fish with garlic-tempered vataana chaat; Tandoori Wasabi lobster; and sun-dried tomato chicken tikki, followed by Prawn two ways with a dhokla coconut chutney sandwich; and Ginger Tandoori lamb chops. The vegetarian Gourmand menu will include dishes like Mulayam seekh kabab with lentil-popcorn soup; Cabbage Bengal-gram fritter; and Poppy seed-crusted ginger rajma bar with cracked wheat, spinach and pine nuts. A lychee-ginger sorbet and Champagne, as a palate cleanser during the meal and a 'Mishthaan' capsule with Gulkhand-paan kulfi and warm chocolate cumin fudge will accompany both Gourmand menus.
Chef Vineet's new a la carte menus will also promise diners a range of innovative, contemporary dishes in his signature style.
Guests are invited to preview Vineet Bhatia's new menus from March 17-19, 2011 (lunch and dinner) and personally interact with the two Michelin-star Chef as they dine.
Timings: Lunch: 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.; Dinner: 7.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
