Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease)
May 14, 2007 - The 8500 delivers exceptional flexibility by printing variable data on various substrates for labels and tags. This includes advanced RIP and color management technology providing consistent color matching and support for the most popular color scales. The output quality is, in many cases, better than traditional flexography. No color calibration or registration is required.
“In the past we would have had to produce plates before we could print labels for our customers. If the customer was unhappy with the way the label looked, additional plates would have to be produced, slowing down the time for delivery. Today with the Degrava 8500 we can produce a small number of samples that can be approved or changed within minutes.”
Mr. Davey feels that by combining the Degrava with their current hot stamp presses they can also provide their customer’s thousands of label sizes without having to charge for costly cutting dies.
"By investing in this cutting edge printing technology we have positioned ourselves to fill a void and give greater depth in our offerings"
