November 03, 2009 - Dharma Rajya Vethi organized a one day workshop in Kochi at Chavara Cultural Center, on Sunday 1st November.
The workshop discussed Federal Democratic Agenda for Kerala, for sustainable development, for building violence free, corruption free, hartal free and liquor free Chaitanya Keralam.
Swami Sachidananda Bharati inaugurated the workshop by lighting the Dharma Jyothi. In his keynote address Swami Sachidananda Bharathi touched upon the need for a second freedom struggle and the need to build a ‘Collective Moral Force’.
Convener of the Dharma Rajya Vethi, Sri. P. Sherfudeen presented a draft agenda consisting 24 points. Following which a discussion on the agenda took place.
Representatives from different organizations made comments and suggestions on the agenda, Sri. K P Joseph ( Former Advisor to UN), Fr. Antony Romance (Ex. Director, KSSF), Sr. Alice Lukose (Founder Director, WIN), Sri V V Mathew,( Viswa Vidya Matt), Dr. P. Koshy, (Samdhan Foundation), Dr. J. Kottoor, Sri. T. J Kottoor, (Chief Editor, VARTHA)
Sri. P.C Cyriac (IAS Rtd) moderated the discussions. Acharya R. S Varma and (Retd) justice Shamsudeen also participated in the discussions. Prof. George Kaniapplly and Sri. Madhavan Namboodiri also spoke on the occasion. There were 30 representatives from different parts of Kerala representing various organizations.
The agenda was later adopted and an action plan was formulated.

Dharma Rajya Vethi came into being on 2nd Oct, 1990. It took initiatives like De-Party Politicization of Education in Kerala (1992-95) and National Regeneration Movement, which launched from Hyderabad during the Golden Jubilee of Indian Independence. In 2009 January 30-31, at Sevagram Ashram Wardha, it took a lead in launching a new national level movement for Second Freedom Struggle to build a hunger free, caste free and corruption free India
