April 01, 2009 - The Detroit Chapter of TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs, is pleased to announce that it has elected Daljit Doogal, Partner, Foley & Lardner LLP, and Monish Verma, VP Wealth Management, Smith Barney, as Vice Presidents for 2009. The announcement was made today by the President of Detroit TiE, Tel Ganesan, President, Vision Tech Solutions.
As Vice Presidents, Verma and Doogal will be responsible for helping the organization conceive and implement strategies to help entrepreneurs in Southeast Michigan and help promote TiE by building partnerships, membership and value-added activities such as TiECon Midwest. They will report directly to president Ganesan.
“I look forward to helping lead Detroit TiE meet the challenges and opportunities here in Michigan for businesses,” said Doogal. “I am excited to work with Monish Verma and Tel Ganesan and help entrepreneurs in Michigan,” he continued.
