January 29, 2007 - Part of this season's Couture Fashion Week, the show marks the talented designer's United States debut.
Established in 2003, the Henrieta Duffner line is rapidly becoming well-known by the fashion cognoscenti for its exclusive and extravagant collections. The 2007/2008 collection is very feminine, inspired by the designer's love for beautiful things. Her designs are made for the sophisticated women who appreciates the best in elegant and flattering clothing. Only the highest quality chemical-free fabrics are used in Ms. Duffner's designs, which are manufactured in very limited runs solely in Germany to precise customer requirements. This operating method allows the Henrieta Duffner line to reach and retain the highest possible level of exclusivity for fashion-oriented customers.
A native of the Czech Republic, Ms. Dufner spent many hours of her childhood at her mother's side as she designed and created beautiful dresses. Her renowned ancestor is none other than Magdalena Hajossy, the world famous opera soprano. After finishing her early schooling, Ms. Duffner moved to London where she studied at St. Martin's College of Design. In 2001 Ms. Duffner settled in Germany where she has vigorously pursued her fashion career, participating in numerous fashion shows and events. Her collection is featured in the "Haute Couture Fashion TV Calendar", as well as in numerous photo shoots with top photographers and TV productions. She recently finished a photo shoot in Namibia for Fashion TV with Miss Namibia 2006.
