DENVER, CO – March 5, 2007 – Demand for skilled copywriters has never been higher. In fact, copywriting is one of the top five professions in demand for 2007 according to a recently released report by Yahoo!
Kelly Robbins, co-owner of The Copywriting Institute, tells us that many people are turning to a career in copywriting because of the flexibility and high income potential. “We see many people, stay-at-home moms, boomers caring for their parents, and people that simply want more control over their lives, break into the copywriting profession.” Kelly tells us many of these people are talented, highly skilled people seeking lifestyle changes or a supplementary income.
Terri Levine, co-owner of The Copywriting Institute, tells us that “having one place where copywriters can learn how to write copy, learn the skills to build a business with a solid foundation and have access to other copywriters and business owners was not available until now with the opening of The Copywriting Institute.” Terri says that as a business and life coach, she saw a sharp increase in copywriters searching for guidance.
A copywriter is someone that writes marketing, communications, or promotional materials. Because the writing is often persuasive in nature, the skills required are different than what’s often taught in school.
