Delta’s Restaurant is located at 19 Dennis Street, New Brunswick, NJ. The hours of operation are as follows:
Tuesday/Wednesday (5pm-12am)
Thursday (5pm-2am)
Friday/Saturday (5pm-2am)
Sunday (Dinner 1 pm-8pm)

Delta’s Restaurant is the brain-child of entrepreneurs, Coretta King and Joshua Suggs. Formerly Napolitano’s, a local restaurant where Joshua and Coretta promoted weekly dance parties to the Rutgers University community, the historic building was transformed and Delta’s opened on December 23rd, 1999.
“We believe in creating an environment where people can dine, live, love, laugh, and lounge”, says Coretta. Although they didn’t realize it, Joshua and Coretta began preparing for this opportunity long before they even met. Joshua deejayed and promoted parties while he earned a degree in Economics from Rutgers University in New Jersey. His ties to the community played a crucial role in filling the seats for Delta’s grand opening and in community support of the restaurant. Coretta King hails from Bellflower, California and graduated from California State University Long Beach with a B.S. in Marketing and Human Resource Management. Her interest in interior decorating and home improvement projects would serve her and Joshua well as they refurbished the space that would become Delta’s on a shoe string budget.
Thinking beyond the present and into the future of Delta’s, Coretta and Josh are currently working on business plans for Delta's II. Their intent is to reach is far beyond the tri-state region. “The proposed areas for the second restaurant are Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. All of these cities offer the major demographic that we are targeting and for us nothing is impossible. We feel that we were blessed enough to do it once, and we can do it again,” Coretta explains.
“We admire the works of Stephen Hanson, the founder and President of the B.R. Guest Restaurant Group. He is a big inspiration to us having started out with TGI Friday's in the 70's, and going on to build a restaurant empire that includes some of the most noted restaurants in the country; Blue Fin, Blue Water Grill, and Ruby Foo's, just to name a few. His attention to detail is amazing, and even though our concept is different, that is one thing that we hope to emulate. Our mission is to develop Delta’s into a national brand.”
